Rosso della Porticcia, Montecucco D.O.C.G. red wine

Bright ruby color with some garnet hues and coherent aromas of jam. It is produced by the Casale Pozzuolo farm in the majestic rows of grapes perfectly aligned and cared for in the hills of the municipality of Cinigiano, in Maremma, and more precisely in Borgo Santa Rita at 300 meters above sea level for an extension of about 4.5 hectares.

The average age of the vines is 11 years and 15 years, the fermentation process, both for the Rosso della Porticcia DOCG and for the Rosso della Porticcia Riserva Montecucco DOCG, takes place in a completely natural way for 27 days without the addition of yeasts, after which its aging in wood is carried out with a light passage in oak barrels

Rosso della Porticcia

A wine with a lively ruby red color, with warm garnet notes. The nose is deep but fine, with rich notes of undergrowth and a delicate spiciness. In the mouth it is broad, warm, rightly velvety.

Rosso della Porticcia Riserva

A wine with an intense and brilliant ruby red colour. The nose has very complex and aromatic aromas ranging from notes of red berry fruit to spicy and toasted ones due to the long period of aging in oak barrels. In the mouth it is elegant and austere, with a rich pulp and a nice tannic and acidic component that balances the natural softness.
